Bordering on the Sacred

Bordering on the Sacred invites Scottish visual artists to submit work for a curated week-long exhibition in the Undercroft of St Vincent’s Chapel, Stockbridge, as part of the 2026 Edinburgh Festival of the Sacred Arts (16–22 August). Exploring the edges and thresholds of Christian visual tradition, the exhibition seeks contemporary responses—figurative or abstract—that resonate afresh within recognisable sacred frames.
